Default Set up the interior light

Anyone know how to set up the interior light? A guy at work set it up for me but i accidentally moved the switch, now it doesn't go out on it's own. it used to come on when i unlocked the car, when i took the key out of the ignition and when i opened the door, now it just stays on, unless you turn it to the off position.

Seems weird but I've never had to "set one up" before but he did something to make it work and i cant figure it out haha

I would get him to do it again but he's on holiday

I might be misunderstanding this, but isn't there just 3 settings; off, intermittent and on? I thought this was the same on virtually all cars I've owned. Have you tried moving the switch the other direction?

There's 3 settings - You don't "set up" the light, just trial and error and flick it to the desired setting..

...Come on dude, you're gonna kick yourself when you realise...

Yeah i know there's three settings but I put it in the middle and it doesn't do what it's supposed to do... Trust me, I feel like a right lemon asking this!!!

So... After literally an hour and a bit of messing around with the light at work and checking switches ect. I gave up and turned the thing off...

Just got home from work, looked at the light and noticed 2 buttons either side of the switch... Clicked them and hey presto.... Light works as it should...

What a t***
