Couple of questions;

1: How much (roughly in Kgs) does an S2000 motor weigh.
2: Anyone have any ideas of what (roughly) it might cost to get an S2000 engine shipped from the US to the UK?
3: Does anyone have any experience of doing such a thing?

Always amazed how people don't use Google more

 

I got a quote to ship to the US and it was just over £300 if I remember so probably the same the other way i'd imagine

326 lbs makes it heavier than honda's own J30 V6 if you believe wikipedia "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_J_engine#J30"

off topic but thought I'd throw it in there.

 

I can't see just the engine weighing as much as that either

 

Especially as the reason Honda didn't put a V6 in it was weight

Engine, Gearbox, Headers, All Ancillaries 209kg. 209kg is 461lbs
