Default No hope for engine, LS1 swap?

Hello everybody. A while back my S2000's engine gave up on me. We took it out, but the block is unsavable. There are no F20C/F22C's available here in Puerto Rico and shipping one over from the US would get very expensive. I can get a rebuilt LS1 locally for much less than shipping an S2000 engine over here. What is everything I will need to complete this swap? Since I plan to daily the future LS1 S2000, I want it to be reliable and well done. I don't plan on taking the car to the track, and I don't beat on the car either. MY01 AP1, mostly stock. Thanks everybody.

I dont know what shipping costs but I can imagine swapping an LS1 will be much much more expensive..

Unless you have the ability and tools to fabricate yourself I wouldn't even look into it.

The LS already came in a very capable convertible roadster, it's called a corvette. The corvette has better brakes, better aero designed to go with the LS.

It makes no sense trying to convert the S2K into a corvette when you can just buy one, it would cost you way more than just buying a vette.
