Default To short to drive ?

I hope that members might help with this question.

My wife at 5'4" tall could not move the driver seat forward enough to comfortably reach the pedals. When we looked at the seat runners, it seems that the passenger seat moves further forward than the drivers seat. Is this correct or might I have a problem?

thanks guys

looks like I might have something stopping the drivers seat moving fully forwards. It seems to hit a definite stop point before the passenger seat does.

check for coins in the seat runners. I cleared out the rubbish that has accumulated under mine today which included £9.87 (mostly £ coins). Couldn't believe it!

Well I'll be....... an S2000 that saves money, hey?

Thanks S2K-Phil that would def be a cheap fix - I'll have another look.

I am still in the honeymoon stage a the moment - wash, admire, drive. Very naughty on the A45 on Thursday.

Thanks for all the replies - what a great group.

What you should be thinking is do you want someone else driving your car. It may be better not to fix it

My GF is almost 6ft (taller than me) her knees almost touch the dash as i cant move it back all the way due to a rear speaker and ecu.

I bet you guys with the short GF's have to get her to kneel on some yellow pages
