Default Sightings, side issue

Having posted a number of "Ive seen" on the sightings thread and only seen a few that have seen each other I reckon there must be loads of s2ks who dont use the board. Honda could put a useful contacts section in the brochure

I was thinking the very same thing - if the "UK S2000 Owners Club" could approach Honda and ask if they can put a flyer or something in with the user handbook, service guide etc. etc.

The benefit to Honda would be that there is a wealth of information on this site, and it may - just may - help Honda in the longer term by enabling a small amount of self-diagnosis..

That would be cool!

Alex.

I have given my local dealer (Lookers) a large number of calling cards, which they hand out to prospective customer. And they also use this site for reference.

I don't think Honda UK would like any reference to the S2KI. As it could cost them, eg with the wheel problem, clutch etc. It would be better to replace only 100 sets of wheels and not 1,000.

I think it would be good if we had a stronger link with Honda UK I know my local dealer looks at this site, so I think we have to be careful what is said on the forum.

I agree in part, although I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of having to pull our punches on here for fear of offending dealers or Honda UK - that's surely not what this board is about? I'd have thought it's in Honda's own interest to know if there are widespread problems with the car itself, or if there is significant customer disatisfaction with its dealer network.

Timbo

So right. My dealer informed me that they now look at the site, they say we know more than they do and Honda UK

I have just ordered my next S2000 and part chopped my W reg. They also asked me not to tell anyone on the forum what deal I got. Why I don't know.

Sounds like an offer you could not refuse.
