Silver s2000
Hi guys,
what are are people's thoughts on the silver S2000's? There's one not too far from me for sale but I get the impression it's seen as a 'lesser' colour to have.

Dark blue = pensioner blue
Nurburgring blue = ladyboy blue
Rio yellow = too loud
Imola orange = hmmm, really not sure
Lime green = yuck
Berlina black = shows the dirt after 50 yards
etc, etc...
Basically somebody will have an issue with any of the colours.
I think silver really suits the S and certainly not a lesser colour - there's more of them as more people ordered them in the first place.

Agreed, Moonrock is one of the colours im looking for.
Check out the Official Moonrock thread on the US forum - the guys in the US were gutted that Moonrock was never available (I think that's right, or at least not for a long time) over there.

Don't listen to anyone but me. Silverstone is undoubtedly the best and because it has a lower friction coefficient makes it by far the fastest color, both in terms of acceleration and top speed. It has been proven that if you respray any other color with Silverstone it will out perform even turbo charged S2000's

co lour is completely down to individual taste. for me the prefacelfit in silver is probability my least favorite combination but the facelifted cars in silver look great. Moonrock is close to the top of my list but i'm bias

Silver is timeless and is easy to keep compared to dark colours. Red and yellow look good, but tend to be cop magnets. We had two S2000s in the showroom together in the fall of 99. The Silverstone / Red one was the one I had ordered to keep forever, but when it and the Red / black one were in the showroom together, I started having second thoughts. After many nights of staring at them, I went with my original choice. Haven't regretted it yet. With the top down, the red seats give the conservative silver exterior some pop. Only one speeding ticket so far! Unfortunately numerous ones in other cars however.
Imola orange is an awesome colour on the S2000 (and the NSX ) but is almost nonexistent in North America.
