Default A slight rumble

I have just bought my first S2000, after many years of owning a Toyota Mr2 Mk1 and being a club organiser. Now you might think that is a sad fact but i love them and am getting used to the Honda and probably love it more!!
The thing is i get a very slight rumble, when doing about 50 and i'm not sure if this is just the road noise from the car, or something like a wheel bearing!
I't's not bad at all but just wondered if something might be wrong, car handles fine, except not great in the snow, passed mot 2 weeks ago with only2 advises, front pads need changing within the next 3 thousand and rear tyres need changing soon, as they have worn in the middle, not a great make too me thinks, will go for nice new Bridgestones.
Sorry if this has been mentioned many times before, as i am just getting an idea of how this forum works, bit different to the Mk1 club
Being lazy again, when does the cam belt need changing, i have looked through the receipts i have and cannot see any record of it yet, mine has done 54K,
Thanks for any replies Steve

Steve, welcome.

There is no cam belt, so it doesn't need changing

I'm afraid I can't help with the rumble, but be aware that there are lots of strange noises that emanate from S2000s, most of them can be ignored. Is yours at 50mph in any gear, or is it rpm specific? That might help the noise identifiers to tell you what it might be.

As for figuring out hoe the forum works, if you haven't already, have a look at the "Read this first" sticky, and also have a browse of the Technical FAQ, which answers most of the basic questions.

That shows you how dumb i am Nothing bad at all on the noise, just road noise i expect and only being used to the glass roof on my mk1, probably doesn't sound the same!

Chap Welcome!

I came out of a MK3 MR2, seems like popular progression.

No cambelt on these - camchain.

Cheap/poor branded tyres are a no no on these cars, do a search for more information on recommendations/experiences.

Be assured that these are by far superior to MR2.
