Slow things
Never eaten Horse, well not knowingly, but would have no objection. OHHH can't wait for the return on this one.
Yes there is a lot of memememememe in this thread. Fast Slow Fast Slow, when your stuck behind a slow moving vehicle its time to look around and listen the birds when your roof is down. take a calm tablet and enjoy the scenery.
This coming weekend I will be doing a Maximum of 7 knots, if were lucky all the way to France, and not in a straight line especially if the wind stays in its current direction, we might be down to 2 knots, now that is slow!

Just thought I would let you know that I went for a drive down the A272 today in a HORSEBOX
On route from Winchester to Petersfield I only had one car behind me - due to stopping at the traffic lights
After moving on from the lights he got left behind, I was not holdong him up
On route home I had loads behind me but they were being held back by an Audi.
Who says horseboxes are slow?

I agree with everything Chip and Lofty have said. There is far too much ME-me-memememememem in this thread.
I think all of the folk here who have expressed intolerance should go out and drive something which is a damned site slower. Try a fully laden 7.5 tonner in hilly terrain or a classic which is 0-60 in 20 secs or a horsebox (empty of course), or even drive a car with a trailer with something heavy on it.. you'd all find your better side in no time flat!

Personally, I don't care how fast/slow people want to drive. I don't care if they're not confident in overtaking people. That's up to them, live and let live etc.
What I do care about is when they then all bunch up. Let those who DO want to make progress pass. Leave gap between you and car in front if you've no intention of passing on an open road.
Also, if you are aware of a convoy behind you, pull into a layby for a minute, let a load pass then continue on. It's called being aware of what's going on around you.
