I was out filming a project yesterday and nearly had a head on with some impatient dickhead in a BMW.

For me it was going to be a truly heart-stopping moment!!!!

I'm guessing he jumped an amber / red light there?

 

Unbelieveable - any chance of getting the reg?

 

Yea as far as I could tell, the car infront was slowing for an Amber/Red light. So he/she got impatient and overtook, not thinking about the cars coming around the corner. To be fair, from his/her point of view it seems unlikely traffic will be coming around that corner unless you know the junction. They must've had a bloody good fright seeing me coming round the corner!

Tried pausing to get the reg but too blurred. Converted the clip to a relatively small file size to put up online. May be clearer if I do it properly but nothing I can do about the incedent really. If he/she had hit me it'd have been great evidence! But I'm much happier he/she didn't!

 

With a bit of luck this near miss will make them think twice in future before attempt something so stupid.

 

If the reg was visible, I think if you passed that video to the Police they would be extremely interested and would definitely pay the driver a visit.

Let's hope that he/she thinks twice about doing that again.

 

Just as well one of you was on the ball, some one else in a bigger motor or a different line round the corner might have had problems.

 

I'd have lost it and gone after them.
