I'll second that!! Don't know why but they do seem to justify every stereotype about themselves.

Just returned from a drive in the country & on the way had a major tangling with a group of thugs in a blacked out BMW X5, very scary, looked like they were on something too

We're not all drivers like that ( I own a 530d Sport as well as my S)...

The police could be able to dilute that down to see the reg, I'd say very likely they could. But due to no accident, they aren't going to bother following it up I can tell you. What were you doing videoing your journey anyway?

I saw something very similar a few years ago when walking back from work - the car then turned right across the traffic and sped off - looked so dodgy I suspected the car might have been stolen, or the folk inside were up to more than just "being in a hurry". Sadly never got the number to call it in.

I've had various responses from the Polis when calling in dodgy driving in the past, but if it did give them an excuse to stop a car it might at the very least #### up someone's days if they were pulled, even if they could never be prosecuted for the original motoring offence.

Sorry s2k4tony, I was still fresh from my run in with some 'gangstohs' in an X5!
I realise that there will be the odd one or two considerate BMW drivers out there, good on you

OP That was a very scary incident, you did well to keep calm
