Default Small subtle mod done

I had seen various photos where people have fitted the js2k covers, and i've always found it a subtle but nice mod, de-locking doors always looks good imho.

So i ordered up a set of MCB ones, but Joey later emailed me back saying he unfortunatley didn't have anymore in stock in MCB, he did suggest a group buy but i didn't know if i could rustle up another 4 buyers here, but after looking around the forum i heard that Laguna Blue was the closest colour they had in the US, so i took a chance on a set of them (Joey said send em back if i wasn't happy) but they arrived yesterday (faster than i've had stuff i've ordered from the UK recently!) and i'm rather happy with them :-)

The colour match is very close, only slightly lighter, but less noticeable than shiny silver locks! I can always blow them over when i colour code my washer jets, but i probably wont worry. My mates didn't notice until i pointed them out, but again, i guess it's down to a matter if you're looking for em or not. Either way i'm happy :-)

(excuse the dirt )

I think it's more noticeable on the passenger door shot, but again, i guess that's the lighting..

I can recommend ordering from js2k, top service

I was lucky enough to get in on the Group Buy for these a little while ago and the colour match on my MCB is pretty good. I never fitted the cover to the boot though because of the completely unreliable boot release.

Interesting that the leguna blue is a close match I'll be getting that colour for the bumper plugs

Do we get a S2KUK discount from js2k? Worth asking before I decide to go and buy some.

Totally forgot i made this thread, lol.

Like i say, the match isn't perfect for MCB but is close enough that only S fans and people that know their stuff about paint & bodywork would clock a mile off :-)

Joey is a sound chap and i'm sure would do a group buy no probs. Infact he did suggest it if i could find another 4 MCB owners he'd sort it out, but i'm not the most patient of people and didn't know if there were that many on here.. i guess i live and learn :-)

I don't know about a discount Chad, they they only worked out to be a tenner posted to my door which i though was pretty good considering it would cost more in buying primer/paint/lacquer unpainted ones... plus i wouldn't know where to find bungs like these that fit into the keyhole :-)

How big were the other ones then Mikey, got any photos?

I wouldn't worry too much about the colour, if they are anything like the ones have, you'll be repainting them numerous times with a touch up pen anyway. Using a pressure washer or trying to remove them can take the whole paint covering off in one piece!
Not saying they are not a good buy, I like mine, just be prepared for some upkeep! I should also add that mine are not from this supplier.
