Default The 'Smart' alternative to the S2000

Some time ago there was a thread along the lines "what small car would give the pleasures of the S2000 in miniature".

How about this one - beats the Cappuchino to my mind.

Cheeky git! It's just like having an ugly mate you can stand next to, to make yourself look better!

Got assualted at the petrol station by a boy racer with a ten yr old jap wrx yesterday. He spent ten minutes asking me what mods I had and generally embarassing me. He left in disgust when I told him it was just a stopgap between S2000s.

Give me a break here! First you say I'm driving the equivalent of an XR3 and now you want to crush my car. Just remember who sent you to that cheap optical cable site, eh?

Yes it's ugly, and I'd rather be driving an S, but things don't always go according to plan! It's not a bad drive either you know, and also pretty handy in the wet, snow and ice

[edited to say I'll never take any criticism seriously from a man who owned an (automatic hehe) Metro and a Lada Samara ]

Neil, I thing Aquilla was talking about the Smart not the Scooby!

A very defensive reply though, interesting!

I'm still smarting from his XR3 comment the other day! That and the fact that I followed a gorgeous black S2000 back home tonight.

Reading back, I think he was talking about the Smart! Sorry (I still stand by the Metro and Lada comments though )

I forgot to mention the Loan of the Fiat Cinquicento (sp?) from my mum for 6 months which I managed to seize the engine on (post Lada that was)

I appreciate the optical cheap link neil and love the banter

ofc all my own personal opinions hehe

Just practising my flaming for Scoobynet and all those boy racers.

I really need to work on my spelling before I go back on there though - Mine's far too good

Did you get the cables by the way? Is the setup sounding good? I've finally had something I recorded in my studio released by a real record company. It's dodgy 80s widdly guitar but I engineered some of it and played bass on it. Might even make a few quid!
