You're lucky, Milton Keynes has been a skating rink every time it has snowed. The only grit i've seen has been in my rear view mirror as it falls out of the rear bumper

I work for highways for the county council, and believe me gritters are working! That too overnight, covering most of the roads, this time they did a very good job and most snow was gone from nearly every road I travelled on for my 13mile journey (in the S of course).
Can you ask them to point the spray tunnel down a bit? I got grit blasted the other day and I wasn't happy

It was fine today on the main roads and in the city!

Came round a corner the other morning to a car on its roof, one in the hedge and a biker down.
Happened seconds before I got there and so easily could have been me.

It wasn't cold just water running off the hills and froze on the road!

To be fair, I don't get that far Ian - I'm out and about well before 7am and the bottom of the V10 / V11/ A5 roundabout / 4146 were atrocious. The only reason those roads were passable was because of the early morning HGV traffic.

My S has been great in the snow, even the deep snow we had. It has new Uniroyal Rainsport tyres on mind
