The bracket had rusted so badly the fog light came off. Bit of a scare as I was driving along some B roads making the most of the handling and revelling in this wonderful piece of engineering when I heard clunk! clunk! crash! scrape! clunkety-clunk! I thought the worst, luckily it was just this clunking along the road having freed itself from the rusty housing.

I’ve got a new housing but I can’t get hold of the lens. Someone has offered me the fog light and bumper for £50 and my guess is that could be my only option.

But does anyone have a lens? I’ve seen lens repair tape but not sure that’s gonna work.

They fetch a few quid so must be pricey new

£50 seems a good deal though..
