Default SO MAD!

So picture this, i am just about into the carpark. The traffic is pretty busy at this end of london. On the left hand lane of a 2 lane one way road. I am not moving and The truck on my right doesnt see me to drives straight into the side. I Have to get out and physically tell the guy driving that he has jsut driven into my05 S2000. He looks at me and says what am i doing there!!!! what are @#@#@#@#

He didnt take the blame, but thankfully i have a witness that confirms my story.

Thankfull it only looks like bodywork damage as my alloys were not damaged. The only other thing was that my Tires was badly cut.

I called up my insurers Direct Line they picked up the car and took it to Just car Clinic.

Has anyone had any experience which them and body work repair.

Also anyone had any indication on how long this repair could take to fix.

here are some of the pictures of the incident.

Can't tell from your photos, but besides a new wing / indicator and paint, there might be some suspension damage / alignment issue to fix. Bumper will probably require realigning as well.

Did you get a good thump, or was it more of a scrape ?

Never used Just Car Clinic, so don't know what they are like.

Time wise, if it's straight forward, you're looking at 2-3 days.
If it's not, then I dread to think.

Make sure you get it checked out properly by a Honda garage - not sure what JCC will check / not check.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Sounds like the classic truck 'cone of invisibility' blind spot.

Personally, I'd insist on a Honda-approved bodyshop rather than these jack of all trades ones.

good that you have a witness. If you weren't moving you should be fine.

nooooooo!

Have had very bad experiences with this company (Just Car Clinic Bradford) and the only other person I know who used them had similar experiences.

Advice - keep meticulous records of every conversation you have with them, when, who and what was said. Check the body work very carefully afterwards.

In my experince they never return calls then deny all knowledge of having spoke to them. Took them 5 weeks to START repairs on mine (they had possesion the whole time) in and that was only the beginning of the saga.........

Anyway really sorry about the car - what a T****R

Any LGV, bus, or transit van is a nuissance on the road in busy traffic, you can't see ahead of or past them. But more importantly thet can't see you.

Apart from bus lanes i think they sould introduce lorry only lanes, they can scratch, bump into anything they like there!

Sorry bout the car, hope it gets sorted soon

That's not a bad idea - quick, put it in the S2KUK election manifesto!
