Default Some new mods

So yesterday some new parts came - Ive been transforming this car for about a year now. She handles better and goes better, still need to sort out the brakes properly.

When I opened the bonnet I was very amused to see the vents had some really crappy grills in them. Worse of all they had rain trays in that completely blocked any airflow out of the engine bay! As this mod was solely to increase cooling they had to go!

I sprayed the old yellow washer jets and then found the holes in the CF bonnet were too small. I spent a good half hour calving the holes to suit! Then I also realised that the factory have put the bonnet support hole in completely the wrong place! Overall impression of the Seibon is that you get what you pay for, Id love to get up close with a J's and see if they made these oversights.

AEM oil temp gauge - damn thing reads in Fahrenheit and uses a 1/8 NPT threaded sensor opposed to the GReddy sandwich plate that has 1/8 PT ports, arghh!

At least the oil cooler all seems good, I got a thermostatic sandwich plate for that which im well chuffed with.

What a mess!!

SO once im done tidying in there I'll be adding some of this -

And once the replacement rad comes

that one leaks!

I ll be adding some of that !

Same with the Mugen bonnet, exactly like OEM fit but in dry carbon.

The actual fit of the seibon is spot on for me, just the holes for the washer jets and bonnet stand that were the problem.

You got rain guides on the bonnet? I didn't with mine...
Are you fitting your oil cooler just in front of the air con radiator? Will it get enough breeze? I am struggling to find a place to fit mine at the moment.

Yeah rain guards where screwed in, who supplied yours?

The oil cooler is infront of the air con but behind the intercooler!

Its a tight squeeze alright.

I was contemplating behind the false bumper vent but that would mean reducing the oil cooler size and relocating my air filter.
