Sorted at last.
I collected my car yesterday after 4 days at a local dealer.
It went in for a new clutch (under warranty), aircon pipe repair, minor loom repair, the 27k major service (inc valve clearance adjustment) and 4-wheel alignment.
Went for a play today and what a transformation. The engine sounds fantastic, car handles beautifully, but the best part is the gear changes now. The new gearbox last year (under warranty) helped matters but now mated with the new clutch it finally shifts smoothly and precisely all the way up and down the box. Supplying dealer could find no fault with the clutch. Glad to have a dealer with a Technician who has done all the NSX/S2000 courses, has owned one, and is professional & helpful. I may even actually buy another Honda now, if they come up with something worth having again.
