I was doing a few searchs, looking for info on the 055 clutch replacement and it would seem that many have had either Honda turn them down or need a lot of phone calls to get them to clear the work when the car is in Extended warrenty.

Well in that case i must give Public kodos to 'Drake and Fletcher Honda' in Maidstone, although they have in the past seemed to struggel with my S2000 (tech info and parts), on this they were great.
The Car went in for its 27k service, its out of its 3 year warrenty but in the Extended warrenty. I Mentioned the Ringing, and the odd grind into second AND clicking from the rear. They took it for a drive while they had it and picked up all the problems, on picking the car up they have already cleared all the work inculeding the 055 clutch swap and booked it in on the 10th !

I think all warranty work needs to go to HUK otherwise if HUK reject later the dealer pays

Yeoman's Honda in Bognor have topped that even.

They took my car in promptly and got it back to me in no time, Warranty and Service book still with them as they sort out the paperwork whilst I drive the car around.

D&F have certainly had some practice when looking at 2nd gear grind and the ringing noise so they should have it down to a fine art by now

The good news is the car is now perfect :toucheswood: after the work D&F have done.
