Default sound

The other night going into town, I put my roof down(posy prat, with heater on full blast!!). I put on my favourite cd, and put the volume up, I was well annoyed with the sound it was bloody awful. I used to have an MR2 and that had 2 amps and 7 speakers as standard, Why have the tight asses at Honda only installed 2 speakers.

An suggestions on improving the quality of the sound.

Because they spent the money on the engine and gearbox!

Best thing you can do is to use the search facility at the top of the page to look for references to sound, speakers etc. There's been loads of stuff on the subject on these forums (or should that be fora? )

I changed my front speakers for drop in replacements with a 90 watts RMS rating and that made a tremendous difference. Not exacly Bose, but a hell of a lot better than before. I'm thinking of fitting Lucid's rear panels too (which you'll find out about on your search)

HTH

Definitely upgrade the front speakers, you will notice a major difference for a relatively small price. Also having heard the rear speaker setup recently, that also makes a huge difference for a bit more work.
