Default speaker upgrade?

Hi. recently I've been looking at upgrading my component speakers and need some help on how to achieve the best and clearest sound for the least amount of money. i have a sony bt headunit installed already but thats it. My budget all in would be between 2-300. I realise that doesn't get me too much. I would be looking to get component speakers sound deadening and maybe a small amp if needed. Im not fussed on bass so a sub isn't needed. I would like the install to be as simple as possible so straight swap speakers would be nice but if some work is needed for a better result then i am willing to do that. I am after clean sound that doesn't distort at high volumes. Any help and experience would be much appreciated thanks.

Save your money for the exhaust mod, drop your roof and enjoy the sound track

i have a berk hi flow and a q300 so exhaust noise isnt a problem once the roof is down . but sometimes music is nice and the standard speakers are pathetic.

6.5"

I have these which are pretty good. Think the guy used Mini adapters, which look a lot like the ones in your link.
