Think I may have been caught speeding again

Doing about 90 on the A1 (the four lane section), and I see a cop car in the hard shoulder. I brake and as I get closer I see this copper pointing a speed gun at me.

He looked at me as I drove past at 70 and shouted something. So I'm not sure if he'd got me or not. He also kept pointing the speed gun at me a long time after I had slowed down, like he was still trying. Would he have pulled me over straight away if he'd zapped me, or am I likely to get a present through the letter box in less than 2 weeks.

I would have hoped that he was mouthing slow down" because he hadn't managed to get a successful lock but had clocked you visually

 

Lets fooking hope so

 

If you were showing 90, probably that's a real 82-85.

Wouldn't count on that. My speedo shows exactly the same as my Road pilot at 90......90 !!

Most analogue speedos are out by 10% or so and the cops allow you a certain amount but my speedo appears absolutely accurate until 140 where is loses a couple of MPH against the GPS Pilot.
