I have noticed a 10mm split in my rear screen (pre 02) When the roof is lowered it folds right along it so im worried it will grow. Is there anything I can do to a) stop it spreading and b) repair it?

At the moment I dare not lower the roof

 

AS far as I'm aware, it can't be repaired. I had mine replaced a few months ago for

Try some of these roof repair specialists. Same thing happened in my MX-5, and I fcukd about for months trying to bond it.

Got a nicely fitted new roof, thus stopping window leaks too!

Wish I'd gone that route in the first instance!

 

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will have to get a new one fitted. Chris, have you got the number for that place you used?

In the mean time is there a way I can stop it from spreading? Glue for eg!
