I think a new thread on composing an interesting letter to Honda is called for.
How many different ways can you say, "You're dealers are a bunch of incompetent twats."?

Springfield's reply was "It wouldn't make any difference to the damper performance"
You've got to admire the brassneck of these people.

Not satisfied with knowing the square root of feck all about the car, they continue to insult you with like that.

I'd check your forehead just to make sure you haven't got "Joey Deacon" written acorss it in big black marker.

Joey Deacon?
I think that's definately a generation thing and seeing that most people on here are probably a bit older than me, I think I've missed my target audience.

You may want to check out the following however......

Neil

I suppose these dealers are always pressed for time, cutting corners etc (like MT's exhaust fitter that tried to rip him off ) - only human/commercial nature in some ways, but no excuse whatsoever.

This sort of thing makes taking your car to the dealer like taking yourself to a dentist you don't know - terrified he's going to screw up, never knowing what's going to be needed done, and facing an enormous bill.

Shit I must be getting old

Here's a suggestion for the new club.

Members pay a monthly/annual "insurance" fee to allow us to take Honda dealers to court for this type of BS. A single case found in the clubs favour and I think we'd see a significant improvement in the quality of service.

Personally I'd pay up just to see some of these totally crap dealers get their comeuppance.

Bloody hell Neil - that is terrible

I'm sure there is some way the club can act to lobby on people's behalf, not sure about courts and insurance money etc - sounds a bit complicated Better ask a lawyer about that Where is MT?
