The plastic belt-holder-thingy (see, I know all the technical terms!) at the top-corner of the seat? Now that sounds quite likely. Bizarrely enough though, the passenger-seat one is immune.

Will have another look later.

Thanks all!

I've got this too - must try and do something about it!

Have you looked at the spare wheel. This makes a nice squeeky sound if not secured and is rubbing. Also just behind you.

I had this squeak for the first couple of months and it drove me mad . Have to agree with anyone who said seatbelt rubbing on leather seat just to the rear of plastic holder 'thingy'. Next time you hear squeak just apply pressure to this area of belt and it will stop.

Cure;-Rub lots of leather conditioner into rubbing area

Put some grease on the hinge of the hood, the one right behind your right ear. This was what it was on mine

I'm with the seat & belt holder one!
I had this on both my two previous S's.
By an 06 they don't do it due to the change in leather

Really thin strip of sticky backed velcro (sorry to get technical here but only use the "fuzzy" side not "hook" side!) stopped my seat belt squeaking on the seat leather. Cost 59p and ya can't even see it.

Got really bad on a recent holiday-I think the heat made things worse. Only thing to hand was some lip balm-worked a treat! Mines worse at slow speeds on bumpy roads for obvious reasons.
