Hmmmm, so is it a case of you don't have one or you do but it doesn't work?

According to the Honda ESM for MY00 the start button is only illuminated when the ignition is fully on (ie the position where you can start the car). However, I couldn't find any reference to replacing the lamp if it has blown.

Mine's lit.
Anybody know whether the 04 has internal alarm sensors like the 03? And if so, how do you switch the bloddy things off?
Every time I open the garage door the bloody thing goes off!
As far as I know there are sensors and you can de-activate them by doing something with the lock - not sure exactly but it is definitely in the manual.

I thought the 04 alarm was a factory unit and therefore more intelligent than the MY99-MY03 jobs. AFAIK The 04 alarm automatically knows if the roof is down and adjusts the sensors accordingly. I could of course be wrong

Can anybody explain to me why, after turning the ignition off and the interior light coming on, it dims when you open the door?
I've had this with 2 S's

No Light on my 1999 car. Feel left out now!

No alarm blips either (although they would be useful!)
