Default steering

so, about 18 months ago I had my car lowered on eibachs, I often hear how everyone talks about how great the s feels on the road

I just don't feel that, I'm always driving and think something's not quite right.

is it because I don't have anti bump steer fitted on the front/rear?

I know it's hard to answer, but for anyone who is lowered on eibachs, did you have bump steer kits fitted?

I know it's not major money to buy, but before I do, just thought I would throw out the question

Yeah geo would be one of the first places to visit. How old is the car? (And subsequently your dampers), what tyres are you on? How worn? Correctly inflated?

All of these (and more of course) can have a big effect on how the S feels.

The post 2004 cars are less susceptible to that 'bumpsteer' feel, even when lowered.

I know what you're saying with something not feeling right, but I'd have to go out in the car with you driving, see if we can replicate it.

Despite you getting your geo done, it could be how you want the car to behave, thus changing your geo might give you that confidence

I have an 01 and it gets unsettled by bumpy roads and the steering could be more feelsome but other than that with good geo it's always felt good to me

So check that. Maybe track it to get a feel for the limits, somewhere with run off

EDIT took me a while to post and I between you'd replied

Pressures maybe a bit high for every day
