I borrowed my mates TT roadster one day, we'd parked up outside the pub, knew he had some truly horrendous music, so drove off leaving him and his mates with the sound of Chesney Hawks "I am the one and only...."

You should have seen his face!

My and a mate drove down one of the main shopping streets here on a Saturday afternoon with the theme from Steptoe & Son on full volume. Got some strange looks I tells ya.

I'm always careful not to have my music blaring when I've got the roof down for fear of being classed with the many hundreds of wankers littering the streets with their corsa's etc thinking they're hot shit.

People do feel more inclined to talk to you if they're walking past, but again I just think it's because they can. It's not like you talk to everyone you pass in the street, but if 99% of people walked about in space suits you would certainly feel inclined to talk to the other 1% who didn't.

Picked my wife up from school today - next day post OFSTED - headteacher so she gets all the kicks - left early - imagine top down - 200+ kids lined up at the railings - shouting "Nice car, miss"

When one listens to more experimental music, it can be quite amusing:

It always seems to happen when stationary that the track suddenly fades into SFX. One gets the strangest of looks when the sound of clocks or bicycle bells starts emanating from one's car!
