Made a flange to bolt my Tial QR onto the the HKS pipe at the weekend, really happy with how it turned out. I made it as small as possible as there isn't much space in the engine bay, the Tial is huge in comparison to the HKS BOV

The girl friends dad makes small batch items like these for companies like Morgan so if anyone is interested then let me know and i could get a quote. I doubt it would be worth doing though unless there are 5 people plus interested.

Pictures of the flange and then mounted.

I will trial it on the car tonight and take it for a test drive to see how it runs. I will feed back on the results tomorrow.

Eagerly awaiting har-vey's "flutter gone" update tonight, and conclusion of this whole adventure.

If only a certain someone could have admitted earlier that the BOV supplied was not up to the job and not that it could be a problem with the cars.
But agree, cant wait to get rid of Mr. Flutter.

As expected no more flutter! I vented to atmosphere during my test run last night and i didn't find the QR excessively loud. the noise was as described by others, "a bit like a bus" but the exhaust is still far louder.

Something i did notice was the massive increase of air flowing at idle. Anyway I'm happy again as i can now drive the car with confidence.

Fantastic, finally confirmation of what we've said from day 1!!

If we were able to get enough people to produce the valve what time scale could we have them? I've spoken to a local turbo 'specialist' who would weld me a new mount on the existing setup but I would prefer to use a flange/adaptor plate rather than weld the HKS pipework.
