What exhausts/manifolds are people running?

I presume a loud'ish single pipe would be even louder ? (just checking )

I would prefer a quiet/light, good flowing dual with no drone and not too loud but dont want the expense of a mugen.

I guess the stock exhaust is not bad decatted, but heavy?.

I'm unsure if the tracysports ts-02 manifold i have would be okay performance wise?

Running 5-6psi.

Cheers

The long and short is that you don't need an aftermarket exhaust and manifold to run an SC, but it will breathe better if you do. A bit like NA only more of an effect.

For example if I go FI, it will just be the decat and rear section and that's just for weight. I'd only do the manifold if you want every last bhp.

You have a point mark, i was going to ditch the singlepipe keep the manifold and get a stock exhaust and just decat it.

Still i was going to ditch both as i was unsure how it would effect performance.

Thanks

Currently running with a Mugen manifold, Mugen exhaust (AP2) and Berk hi-flow cat.

For a while I was using a single exit 5Zigen but I got complaints from the next door neighbors

You don't really need that Mugen though do you Steven? About time you got something newer and shinier Of course, I could do you a favour and take it from you begrudgingly

I still think the Amuse was the best exhaust I have ever had, if only they were not so brittle .....

Back to running oem had the spoon N1 and the tenabe
it felt faster with the spoon but that might have been the sound
no big difference going from tenabe to stock
only thing I would consider now is an adjustable one as I miss the N1 on full chat but don't miss the ringing ears and drone on long drives

Cheers guys.

My t1r v2 is loud but no where near as loud as a spoon N1, my mate commented on WOT he could hear from outside the induction more for a wee while .

Steve dont suppose you dyno'd the S with standard bits on or was it dyno'd from day one with the mugen bits on?

Thanks.

The Mugen manifold had been on the car for over 5 years.

When I had the Rotrex intalled and when Mase tuned it with the AEM EMS it had the 5Zigen (Miracle Fireball).

I have never had the car dyno'd with the Mugen exhaust.
