The catch is they will write to you in a couple of months saying sorry you are not covered, we made a mistake.

Is that the one I am thinking of?

Thanks for all the replies, i've not had a reply to my swiftsure email yet (which isn't brilliant customer service, i guess) but if the excess is as lovegroova suggests, it's the same as Tesco. It's a poser: if it were just a 20 - 30 quid saving i'd go Tesco, but almost

That's their niche, Beater insurance. Opt for a "better quality" insurer for the S.

I had a no fault accident earlier this year and Swiftcover organised their pet repairer after a short delay, I drove a Nissan Micra about for a month while repairer ordered bits of plastic, one by one, from the Far East and then it took another month to recover my
