I've been trying to keep it simple, but dumbing down isn't rally my style

Maybe I'll just have to restrict communication to a maximum of two or three syllables?

Or simple advice - like the 16/1 winner I gave you all for last year's Grand National.........

I do think I'm wasting my time sometimes.

The fact that so many of are slaves to 9-5 (let alone the Bluetooth headset) doesn't augur well for their prospects.

I understand that not everyone will want, or indeed benefit from Joining. That information about the UK Club membership is all on the s2kuk site already Mark. FWIW we offered renewals to already paid up members for

This is not meant to be a controversial question, but where does the membership money go and what is it spent on?

I'm not going to respond immediately to your other comments, I need to consider a response, given that I'm not up to speed with what the Dennis the Menace club offers, and how that compares to S2KUK.

Suffice to say that I'm pleased with what we have acheived so far, and we're looking at plans for the coming year and the future. It's not JUST about discounts.
Glad to hear it - when I see a reason to join I probably will.

But I'm just voicing the feelings of quite a few people I've talked to - so far there hasn't been much doing APART from the discounts, which are no good to a lot of people. Don't supppose you'd reveal how many renewals you got from the original joiners....?

With the Dennis the Menace Fan Club membership I got a membership card, a tin badge of Dennis and a hairy Gnasher badge with googly eyes.

If you could do a hairy Mark T badge with googly eyes I might consider it.

A hairy Mark T badge with googly eyes would swing it for many people I think.

Which membership money? s2ki or s2kuk?

I'll post a full answer, on both later on, about to go to a meeting.

Still begs the question, why are you signed up for S2ki membership then, in light of what you have just said ?
because I have, over the years derived a lot of pleasure and gained a lot of useful information from this board. Notwithstanding all the ruckus going on about guests vs members and the changes cthree is ir isn't making - I like to contribute to things I have had benefit from (I'm probably one of the few people who donate to the authors of shareware too).
