Default A Tale of Three Windshields

When I bought the S2000 three years ago I had the dealer fit a Honda Aero Visor to reduce the backdraught coming between the roll hoops. This worked OK but it was clear that a taller screen would be more effective.

Eventually I bought an unused Rick's full-height windshield insert from another Forum member and installed that in the Honda OEM frame as per Rick's instructions. It worked fine but the 'plus' of having a nice S2000 logo etched into it was offset by the 'minus' of it being a dark smoked grey which made rear visibility problematic, particularly at night.

As I have previously posted, this windshield came to an untimely end when it sheared off just above the frame horns, probably the increased wind pressure at high speed being responsible.

Great job on both!

Tell me more about what the tactil model actually is. What I see looks impressive but im curious to ind out more.

You could make some good money from the 3/4 height screens - thought about starting up a small production plant? Think i would be up or one

I don't think that one's broken - I believe it is the one for the BMW Z4!

Good work how much difference does the extra height make over the standard Honda screen?

That model's amazing by the way!
