Anyone know what the oil consumption spec. is for the S?

Car was serviced about 1000miles ago (36,000 mile service). Checked the oil after the service and right on the full mark. Checked today and down to about 1/3rd to 1/4 down the hatchings. Added just shy of a litre to get it back up.

That's equating to something like 1500miles per litre which seems a little high to me. Be nice to know what Honda say is a "Problem" level

 

I've heard of people using 1l in 1000 miles, so I wouldn't worry too much.

 

I'd call that a lot for a saloon but I was a bit unsure when compared against a high performance engine. Shall keep an eye on it but not go bothering Honda just yet
