My workshop was broken into on New Years day evening, alarm went off and nothing was stolen. My van was broken into at the Best Western at the Autosport Show, my Sat nav, and 2 quality power tools were stolen and the van rear doors destroyed. the van alarm went off 3 times and the thief was there 50 minutes but the Night Porter didn't wake up!!! I saw it all on CCTV, unbelievable! £2000 of damage, £1000 excess on my insurance! Then yesterday morning at 5 am some other thief jacked up one of my cars in the works carpark and stole the Brembo calipers. He also stole £8500's of parts off the nextdoor businesses cars before he realised he was on my new CCTV. But the Police say the images are not good enough. The world has gone to the dogs!!!
I put all my customers cars securely indoors and I now have 4 Master blaster Alarms. In the event of a break in 4 phones are connected to the alarm and my camera's are linked to my home computer. I can't do anymore other than wire the doors up to the mains. Trying to get the landlord to put up PIR Floodlights to give the camera's a chance. It only takes one arsehole to cause so much shit!!!
I've been here 20+ years and nothing has happened like this until the last 18 months. It just goes to show how bad things are getting.
Trying to get the pictures enhanced and put as much detail on the Honda forums, local shops, pubs etc, as I can. Chances are it was a local. So the words out. If you get offered or see offered a set of Brembo's for an Integra or Civic Type R or individual throttle bodies or K20 engine parts let me know on 01327 858212.

I forgot to say the following morning the day after my van was broken into I went to the spot in the carpark where my van was parked the previous night to see if I could find the rubber window surround only to see that the Toyota Celica parked there had its side window smashed in and wrapping paper from the presents kept in the car strewn all over the hedge. It was a girls 21st birthday party that night so she had a shock. I let the reception know. I spoke to the night porter and he said it was a weekly occurrance! Last time I stay at a Best Western!

Scumbags broke into my brothers car on sat night, tried to pry the door open, failed many times, but left deep crow bad grooves all down the pillar and rear door....must be 20 attempts. they failed and smashed the window instead?!?! wht nor just do this in the first place...they stole a £50 cd player.

His car is an old sunny, so not worth a bean, but the same principles, he can;t drive it now as door doesn't close, but no point claiming on insurance as excess is more than the car is worth.

I hate scumbags and about time the law got tough.

If my brother had caught them in the act, the law would be being very tough on him right now i am sure....as the thieves would not be leaving the scene under their own steam.

as i said ona previous post, unless there is suitable deterrant supported by law, it will only get worse.

Prison cells should be 6x6ft concrete with a roll mat, no tv, no gym, no nothing, min amount of food to survive and that its. your there for a reason, deal with it.
