Default Thought I was in for-----

a bit of fun this morning. Caught up with a 911sc at the roundabout leading to the local bypass this morning. Road was nice and clear and he stuffs it through the r'about, follows him through in 2nd gear and off he goes, in 2nd, change into 3rd, he's not pulling away, then all of a sudden he waves me past and gives me a big grin and wave as I do so. Was he really trying or did he not want to thrash what was after all a fairly old car. Must admit I was a bit disappointed, don't really get a lot of chance to play round here. Oh well, just carry on

Had a bit of fun last night on the way home from a works do.

Was driving down the M40, when the company owner pulls alongside in his.............SL55 AMG!!!!

He pulls slowly away, and I follow. We gradually accelerate away together, him in front, and dashes any attempts I make to overtake by gently making sure he's ahead of me.

We get to about 125 (km/h of course) and then he REALLY boots it......OMFG!!!! The sound from that engine was just incredible, and he just left me like I was standing still.

We both had a bit of fun, but JEEZ - he stuffed me into the ground with that piece of kit. Truly awesome car.

I came across a H reg 993 on the way back from Wales last weekend. He was behind me and three times I tried to outrun him out of roundabouts up to rather high kph figures - he was stuck to me like glue. I then pulled over and tried to see if I could keep up with him. He was pulling away from me but not very quickly and we gave each other a thumbs up as we went our separate ways.

PS he had a discreet spoiler and I had a mountain bike hanging over my boot - That's got to have held me back!!
