Default Is it time for the hardtop?

Yesterday I made the decision that it was definitely time to dust off (not literally....) the hardtop for the winter. Today is now challenging that with the sun shining and not a cloud in sight!

Anyone taken the winter hardtop plunge yet??? How late do you wait....?

Yeah I popped mine on a few weeks ago, treated the and greased the seals
Still prefer the look with the ht on but did miss out with the sun a couple of weeks ago. Very cosy in this rain though

1st November was my original target date...although not sure why we think the weather is predictable in this country though. Looking good there Doyal! I've not actually had the hardtop on my car yet (only bought in Feb) so I'm kinda excited to get in on!

I'm going away next week, so it'll be going on this weekend. Just need for it to stop raining so hard so I can have a few last blasts of the season

I also want to give the soft top it a good clean and protective treatment before it goes to hibernate for the winter. Maybe I should do that today!

I did actually I sold it to Nick300zx and bought go fast bits with the money!

I never liked the look with a hardtop, I also found it made the car feel heavy and cumbersome . It also squeaked and rattled which did my head in.

What are you lowered on again Doyal? How is it now that everything has settled?

I only put it on at the first instance of snow, if we get a snowless winter then the hardtop stays in the garage.

No time is time for hardtop.

Just think of all those crisp, starry drives in the dark with the roof down you'll miss.

Use the hardtop as a sledge when the snow comes....
