Skillz!! Those arches had lots of TLC when I had it and I'm glad it's paid off.

It deserves to carry on that car

You butt-weld it with lots of spots so it doesn't distort and then angle grind the weld flat.

Before i can carry on and weld the panel back in the first job is to fit the s/h door and line up the shut line with the front wing and sill,



This is where i came up against a small problem that needed sorting but for those that have seen the vid of the acc it was to be expected, the b pillar had being pushed in so the door and rear wing don't line up when the lower edge of the door is in line with the sill,





So i had to dig out the porta power to ease well force it back across,









The next job is to clean up all the weld area's and trim the panel for a butt joint to the old wing section

It's pretty damned good in there for a 2000MY will have to get some cavity wax in when i've fixed her up
