LOL! Thanks for noticing, the wife ribs me terribly about how neat the garage is!

As for the mats, well I can't have the S2000 leaving dirty footprints can I?

Seriously though - when I first painted the garage floor I noticed that the paint would wear away where the wheels stood, I guess the paint was sticking to the tyres more than it would adhere to the concrete below. Anyhow after repainting the floor my car now sits on mats to stop the paint from lifting in the future.

Brian: yes the strap is an add on of my own, I'm sure it would have been fine as it is really well balanced but better safe than sorry!

Not really Andy, I had taken the top off to put some rubber treatment on the bottom seals of the hardtop and to see how the roof fitted on the stand. I didn't put the soft top up as it was pretty cold and I'm a bit paranoid about operating the roof at cold temps in case the screen or roof gets creased. Looking at the weather oputside at the moment I don't think the hardtop will be off for a while now

I just saw a S2000 coming up the M1. Something like V9PWM. Shouted hi. He was a softie like you with his roof up I was roof down, enjoying the big traffic jam

Even got the thumbs up from a Police car going past while I had the roof down. Guess I'm a Police sanctioned nutter now

Nice! All they do with me is tail me for about 2 miles in a quasi-threatening manner

Well, it was in a big tailback between J23a and J25 northbound on the M1. I didn't get out of 1st gear very much
