It might not be the best idea if the cars brand new. Running in period and all that.
Thats why I bought a 7 year old one. It's already been run in a long time ago.
Oh yeah, and i was about 15 grand short as well.

Think my 0-100 is in the 11 second area. But I've not really had the chance to give it stick.

I had an RSM for all the timing, but I took it out when I got my EMS in to unclutter my dash.

Survey s2000, neither Bibbs nor Arsie's car is standard. They both have superchargers so their 0-60's aren't quite representative.

My mission is to try and improve my driving skill and get abit more comfortable with the S

You need it at around 6k before dumping the clutch.

Any less and the clutch will fry or it will just bog down, any more and there is too much wheelspin.

There should be a little vid in my sig.

You need to come on the Rockingham track day. Come and meet a load of like minded S2k enthusiast and learn what your car can do. There's a wet grip facility for you to have a play on too.

See my signature for details.

Survey, as you've got a modern car with a Clutch delay valve, you won't be able to use those tricks. I got a hand held 5.8ish starting about 2-3k rpm, but not really dumping it.

If she can't see what you're doing to the car, all the more reason to come

they'll be another one later in the year but where and when is yet to be decided.
