Mine's probably higher now and going higher again probably.

Nice to have the ground clearance and it makes bugger all difference to the handling?

Or have you some 'rough' circuits coming

I'll simply say "Hertfordshire roads". That should answer your question

Mostly it's to do with bumpsteer that lowering the rear makes worse.

That explains why my tired rear shocks and springs are making the car feel unsettled on undulations / rough roads then!

Unless 2 small amps and one sub box have compressed my springs by a massive amount, i'd say i am suffering a saggy rear end and that my fronts are fine.

I'm in the same boat, about 63k miles on mine so I'm looking to replace. Was thinking of coilovers to start with but don't know if I could live with slammed look again so have just got some second hand APEX -30mm springs and looking into shock replacement...

Thought id have a look at Koni for a laugh, near £600 for all 4 dampners, I know they're probably the best but couldn't justify that expense with my driving ability/use.

I'm really surprised how low yours is sitting on stock suspension, mine looks like a 4 x 4 at the moment, I'm worried the -30mm drop is still going to leave a large arch gap!

Personally id be a bit reluctant to get second hand OEM shocks unless they're dirt cheap. Unknown history and unknown life expectancy would put me off.
