They left the S alone because they knew how crap the stereo's are.

How strange... can only assume that the thieves thought the S would have an alarm and the others wouldn't - therefore, wanting to maintain stealth, they didn't touch the S.

Bad luck mate. I hope the thieving bar stewards have an unfortunate accident with a high speed train

I sincerely hope the b@stards come back for the S tonight!
Give them a few weeks or so, now they know where a nice shiny s2000 lives and how easy it is to get to, don't be surprised if it does go walkies.

A review of security measures are in order me thinks

I've always liked the idea of blank shotgun cartridges, buried in the drive linked to pressure pads, no scrub blanks, CLAYMORES

Odd.

You'd think out of all the cars the fabric roof would make it the easiest to get into.

I suppose, as others have said, the thief may have thought such an expensive car would have a decent alarm.

Gutted - sorry about your other cars!!

Maybe the stereo cover foxed them?

My girlfriend and I woke up at 5.30am a few weekends ago to hear someone down in our kitchen going through the drawers where I (used to) keep the keys to the S. Luckily he bolted as we discussed exactly what to do but managed to get away with about

Sorry to hear about this

But I think you were very lucky the S was not damaged at all.

I think you will have a have a security review though, theres no doubt the thieves will have noted the S2k in the garage and may even try to nick this in the future.

I say cut both the hands off if the thieves are ever caught, may seem heavy handed but extremely effective IMO
