Type-v s2000 on gumtree/ just giving people a warning.
Iv just noticed this type-v come up for sale on gumtree as owning one my self I'v just noticed a few things on the one for sale that isn't right.
As I'v owned mine for 2 years I'v only seen one other come up for sale. so I'd just thought I'd have a look into it.
It's just had a vgs conversion done in my eyes.
Even on the insurance sights it doesn't come up type-v as mine does.
Just wanted to share this on here to save some one from not buying a genuine type-v.
Hope this helps enthusiasts looking at buying this car.

Might be talking out my a** here.
But were all VGS's not JDMs?
If so, Why does this have MPH clocks in? No JDM had MPH dials.
I understand its quite a bit of work to change over all the dials and sensors.

The JDM models have both MPH and KPH clocks but generally when they're brought over the KPH gets painted over to cover it. Same as with mine. bit of a shoddy way of doing it but meh.

Just on mine the plastics around the window switch and the centre console compartment is in a factory finish silver colour which I'v never seen before. I just assumed all vgs models would be the same. It just seems strange that if it was a type v and they didn't register it as one that would seem odd to me.
Hay ho could be rong.
