Default Tyre sizes

Im stil waiting for my team dynamic, pro race 1.2 wheels but the company rang the other day and asked what tyre sizes i want.

My wheels are 17" rims, 7.5" width on the front with an offset of +45 and 8" rears with +48 offset

Anyone know what will be the best tyre sizes will be for these?

Thanx fergie

Please use the search function, the same old tyres/oil/brakes questions are asked all too often. If you haven't done so, the FAQ towards the top of the UK index page is a very good read too.

Fortunately, there are nice people like AJ to help you along the way.

Quality thread that. Thanx for the link. Its is hard to fully understand though. I was wanting to know because as from the pic below, you will see that im needing a wider wheel to suit the style i will be going for. I want something that will sort of sit flush with the arches (espesh the rear) Does anyone have experience with these sort of wheel sizes and can tell me if im going down the right route. pics would be helpfull too.

thanx again

Think you should've chosen a lower offset if you wanted the wheels to sit flush with the arch.

You can go a bit wider than normal on the wheel width but it won't make much of a difference if the entire wheel sits inwards too far to your liking.

By my reckoning they'll stick out 23.35mm more than your 16s.

I think the Rota Boosts were the same offset and size at the rear, and a few people have those. Search for pics.
