Default Tyres

ok I've decided on the alloys. But doing a search brings up alot of questions on what tyres.

I want a low profile but not sure what combo is required for the S2000, as far as I know it requires diffrent heights for the front and back but the 17" alloys I picked suppor the following.

205/40R17
205/45R17
215/40R17
215/45R17
225/40R17
225/45R17
235/40R17
235/45R17

Whats the best combo to get for the S2000 while keeping them low profile?

I'll be going with S03's and http://www.performancealloys.com/details.a...ssion=431595531

Cheers for the help I'm useless when it comes to picking the right stuff lol.

I doubt that you will be able to buy these wheels in a suitable size for the S.

Have you checked this yet?

Doing a search on the forums it seems others have them fitted with no problems.

Even the 18's are only 2lb heavier than stock 17's so I dont mind having to go 17 or 18 but pref 17.

Either way I think they are available for the S

Havas - Double check you can get the correct offset as these are a newer model of the Ultraleggara.

I have called them up. They said the 18's definatly fit but they are checking on the 17's for me now. Hope they do fit otherwise I will go with the 18's seeing as they are quite light and such a tiny increase in weight shouldnt cause any issues.

Standard 17's are 17.5 LB these 18's are 18 LB, prob wont even notice it
The extra width of the wheels will result in the tyres being a lot heavier than stock and therefore a significant increase in unsprung weight.

The OEM 17" wheels are not exactly ligthweight either.

Others seem to have no issues with them. Not like we have huge choice in the decent alloys department without spending 3K+ on a set. Not willing to do that just yet Car audio is costing me enough as is and still need brakes, Exhaust, Struts and a few other bits and bobs.

That is if you buy them new.

Used, good quality wheels never sell for a great deal on here. I sold a set of BBS wheels a few months back for

If I do come accross a nice set I will buy them. I'm not getting these alloys for another month or so.

I have to get new suspension to go with them so I'm going to get both done at the same time, if something else pops up between now and then I'll buy.
