driven on both and the asymettrical are far the best, so much more wet grip in them

Rob have been looking at these. Do they really give R888 levels of grip in the dry? How did you find the sidewall stiffness?

I absolutely agree, although a lack of availability of F1 Asyms coinciding with a pressing need for legal rubber means I haven't been able to make the change yet, but I will at the very earliest opportunity!

It seems to be another S2000 myth perpetuated on this site that you WILL die at the first corner you take if you use anything but OEM rubber, but I hate Bridgestone rubber - I remember it being rubbish on my Impreza and it's rubbish on my S.

Phew, I feel better for that.

i have not tried many types of tyre but R888s have absolutely mind blowing levels of grip compared to Bridgestones !

Just dont last very long for me

jay - there as near to a 888 as I think you'll get. Tyre wall is stiffer than say the T1R but not as bad as the 888 so no nasty road noise
