I'm told that Elephant claims dept arent very good, so I plumped for Admiral (who are actually part of the same company as are Bell Direct) paying an extra

I was with Bell Direct Last Year & their renewel was crap, also when I went to get a loaner from my local garage while my hard top was fitted I had a nightmare sorting out the insurance,as most Honda dealers make you transfer your insurance to the loan car now

Andrew, do you mind if I ask why so steep ? Is that with an NCB ? Or have the police cash machines caught you too many times ?

When I started looking I was quoted well over two grand a couple of times but then got

Please please don't use Tesco. They gave me the worst service ever when I made a claim earlier this year. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than then use them again for insurance.
Cheapest is not best - remember that.

I am with Churchill - they are not the cheapest but I have found their service to be very good

just arranged cover for my HKS Hyper and no increase in premium - having said that I have been with them a while with no claims and insure two cars with them both premium vehicles

I think the old adage you get what you pay for applies with insurance
