I can imagine how pissed off you are feeling at the moment. I was when someone keyed the full length of my Focus a few weeks ago, if it was the S I'd be livid.

Hopefully it will be sorted without too much bother

I feel for you matey. It's not nice when people do that. A similar thing happened to me when i bought my second CTR; it was just nine days old when someone ran into it whilst parked up overnight.

The free insurance is called 'driveaway' or something, it's mostly for the purposes of being able to tax the car so you can pick it up without the delays of insurance certificates arriving through the post and stuff (so they told me).

I would imagine they don't get many situations were people have to actually claim on it.
