Default Unknown uk factory alarm system

Hiya Peps

when i purchased my car, it was an import from the UK. i had noticed there were little speaker nubs on the front side of the windscreen. i was told these are factory installed alarm system. just wondering if anyone has anything like this as i havent seen it on anyone elses car. the vehicle documents failed to mentioned anything about this system.

The problem im having is when im trying to program my second fob. i can do this step (linky) however its not by passing this alarm system.

would anyone know how i could program my fob with this alarm system? im hoping i can turn to you guys in the UK, as that is where my S is from. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its amusing reading that manual - my alarm does none of those things! Boot release? NOPE.Auto re-arm? NOPE. Bonnet sensor? NOPE.

Only 2 button fob, as it's effectively an "after market" alarm. Some people have tried wit the 3 button fobs, but I'm not sure how successful they were - a search may enlighten you more.

The 3 button fob works with the standard immobiliser and central locking, but not with the Hamilton Palmer part.

Hi fellas, spent half a day researching how i could program a 3 button fob with this alarm, and im not getting any progress.
anyone be able to shed some light on this?

i was able to do the following

Disarm the system and immediately turn the ignition ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON and within 10 seconds, press
the raised button of an existing handset 3 times. The system will respond by:
Illuminating the vehicle indicators
Illuminating the system LED
The system is now in ‘key learn mode’

The steps fails here, as my 3 button remote wont register the alarm. i could see a red led light when i press a button but no joy.
the 3 button fob does work as i am able to lock and unlock the doors, it just doesnt communicate with the immoboliser

any one able to shed some light on this?
