Default Upgrading fuel pump?

Ok, changing the fuel pump today but to drain the system I need to crank the car without it firing (about 15 secs)

Need to know which fuse to pull under the dash.

A diagram of the whole thing would be nice too!

Thanks,

Hey mark,
Do you need to empty the tank for this swap. IIRC the Honda guys did not do this on my car to change the fuel filter.

Hi Trip,

Doesnt need empying, but better to have a low fuel level before you do it. Also best to do it outside in a well ventilated area. Id let the tenk vent off for a bit after removing the pump.

Fuel pump change is a bit fiddly but not too difficult, space is a problem I found getting the rear panels off. Be careful not to break the small stud-clip that holds the pre-filter to the bottom of the pump, it can be opened gently with a small screwdriver and re-used.

Herbo.
