Hi after what was posted on here the other day I thought I would show you all these. This is what happened to my first S2, after having been lucky enough to own and had as company cars some pretty sporty cars Type-R's GTI's and having been a BMW sales man, a couple of M-cars, I thought that the S2 would be easy to tame.NO!!! The road was a bit wet and I came to a roundabout gave it a bit to much right foot the back end stepped out I then hit a curb before luckily a lamppost stopped me, if not, I hate to think what.
Please be careful everyone!! That could have been any one of us!!
I now have another S and am a lot more careful!!
Russ.

Please don't judge others by your own standards.
Glad you and others are safe.

More S2000's have been wiped out on roundabouts than by any other means*. Too much acceleration, especially in the wet, big curves in the road, and bang... . Most often occurs on exits, rather than entrances.

Hmm, not sure about the power, just the chassis setup.

The hairy moments I have had have all been at sub 3krpm ~30mph.

Just a slight over tap of the gas just a slight bit to early = sideways time

I'm lucky to have been a loon and a car nut so I have been in this position before. Don't panic, counter with steering and throttle and carry on with a small smirk - it happens-esque.

Other people may not have had the experience, or are perhaps a bit blas

I agree.
You cant buy a Boxster from the local dealers without them trying to get you on a handling course, which is interesting.
